Before giving the ranking of the eight winners of the American Idol TV show, I would like to brief you guys something about the American Idol. This is one of the biggest and the most popular TV shows of the United States of America and is regarded as the show of the decade. This is a reality talent show where selected candidates from the entire country perform in front of a panel of judges. At the end of each season of American Idol, one candidate is chosen as the winner and also crowned as the American Idol for that year.
My obvious favorite of the entire American Idol series till date is Kelly Clarkson. Ever since its induction into the television media, I have never witnessed anyone to match Kelly’s perfection. She has all that to be a superstar. She is beautiful, graceful and highly talented. Her voice is so cool and her singing talents are highly admired across the world and no wonder she was the winner of the first season of the American Idol series. The popularity chart of Kelly Clarkson is always on the exponential curve which is a clear indication of her talents.
Enough of my favorite stuff and let us come to the real part of the article. I would rank all the eight winners of American Idol TV show in terms of their talents and grace. This ranking is highly personal and there should be no controversy or gossip about this particular thing. Each and every winner in the American Idol TV show is unique and highly talented in their own and hence ranking this elite group is not a good idea. However, my personal rank-list of the American Idols is given below.
It is obvious that the number one ranking would go to Kelly Clarkson. Nobody will have any dispute regarding position I guess. The second rank would go to someone who is also in the same league as Kelly. My choice of the second best American Idol is Carrie Underwood. She too is a pretty young and highly talented lady with all the necessary ingredients to excel in the Hollywood. The third rank according to me goes to David Cook (season seven winner). This is where the controversy will begin. Most of you would rate Kris Allen as a better American Idol than David Cook, but to me, David was a better performer than Kris. Undoubtedly the fourth rank goes to Kris Allen (season eight winner).
Ruben Studdard will stand at the fifth position. This cheerful and exciting winner of the second edition needs accolades from all of us because of his extreme talents. The sixth rank would go to the winner of the sixth edition i.e. Jordin Sparks. The next American Idol according to me is Fantasio Barrino, the season three winner and finally Taylor Hicks, the season five winner.
